These photographs examine the ubiquitous American fire hydrant from new perspectives, an exploration of the relationship between the hydrant and it’s immediate environment. Many of these images are on permanent display at Fireman’s Hall Museum in Cape May, New Jersey.
The exhibit also includes images made in 1986 at the Montrose Drive-In Flea Market, an every Sunday event for years before the development of the Montrose shopping area. These photographs focus on the goods and traders that came together every week to make the long gone Montrose Drive-In one of the most popular flea markets in northeastern Ohio.
